After you receive Apostilled documents from us, you request an in-person appointment from the Consulate. Your appointment will be scheduled within 4-6 weeks. If your former spouse is a Turkish citizen, they must go to the Consulate in person within 90 days of your application. Once your application is accepted, the divorce is registered in the Turkish civil registry records within 5 days. You can check your new marital status via your e-devlet.
